These terms and conditions apply to the LeafFolio app (hereby referred to as “Application”) for mobile devices that was created by Randy Johannsen (hereby referred to as “Service Provider”) as a Freemium service.

Upon downloading or utilizing the Application, you are automatically agreeing to the following terms. It is strongly advised that you thoroughly read and understand these terms prior to using the Application. Unauthorized copying, modification of the Application, any part of the Application, or our trademarks is strictly prohibited. All trademarks, copyrights, database rights, and other intellectual property rights related to the Application remain the property of the Service Provider.

Pro Subscriptions

The Application offers optional, auto-renewing subscriptions (“Pro Subscription”) to unlock premium features. Payments will be charged to your Apple ID account at the confirmation of purchase.

Your subscription will automatically renew unless it is canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your App Store account settings after purchase. All purchases are final and non-refundable, except as required by applicable law.

AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

The Application utilizes generative AI models (powered by OpenAI) to provide features such as plant identification, care tips, and the AI Assistant. This content is provided for informational and educational purposes only.

The Service Provider makes no guarantees as to the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any AI-generated content. This information is not a substitute for professional horticultural advice. You assume full responsibility for any actions you take based on information provided by the Application’s AI features. The Service Provider is not liable for any damage to plants, property, or persons resulting from the use of this information.

User Content

You may create and upload content to the Application, including photos and notes (“User Content”). You retain all ownership rights to your User Content. The Application stores and processes this data on your device in order to provide its services. It is your responsibility to maintain the security of your phone and access to the Application.

General Conditions

Please be aware that the Service Provider does not assume responsibility for certain aspects. Some functions of the Application require an active internet connection. The Service Provider cannot be held responsible if the Application does not function at full capacity due to a lack of an internet connection or if you have exhausted your data allowance.

The Service Provider may wish to update the application at some point. You agree to always accept updates to the application when offered to you. The Service Provider may also wish to cease providing the application and may terminate its use at any time without providing termination notice to you.

Changes to These Terms

The Service Provider may periodically update these Terms of Use. Therefore, you are advised to review this page regularly for any changes. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms of Use on this page.
